London based soulstress Deborah Bell is having a great year and her latest outing – ‘Stop Getting In Your Own Way’ – continues to charm. We’ve enjoyed the original version, a “Phat” mix and “1 life 2 live” and now they’re joined by an “Everlasting Love” mix that comes courtesy of Deb’s mentor Georgie B. This new tweak unashamedly uses the Whispers’ ‘And The Beat Goes On’ as its driving chassis. A real double whammy… the familiar Whispers sound and Debbie’s vocal and verve…. bound, therefore, to be a Yule floor filler and a Christmas chart rider!
