You probably have fond memories of Mr V’s mix of DANNIS WINSTON’S ‘Rocket Love’. Well, Di Meo loved it too and resolved to work with the up and coming New York soul singer himself. Dannis, of course, has gone to work with Ronnie Herel (on ‘Another Way’) but now he’s fronting Di Meo’s ‘Tied To My Heart’ and the cut is every bit as satisfying as his previous two big outings!
As you can guess ‘Tied To My Heart’ comes in a variety of mixes with not a lot to choose between them. They all offer plenty of optimism for the soulful house crew and keep the short timber-shivering spoken part up front.
‘Tied To My Heart’ is out now on Soulstice and Dannis and Mark’s old mate, Louis Vega simply calls its “A very hot jam” … can’t argue with that!
