It was back in 2017 that we first heard of MS1 PROJECT… two UK brothers … MIKE HARRISON (aka DJ Blue) and session musician GEORGE HARRISON. They had released two singles that year – the light and refreshing ‘The Summer Song’ and the lovely old school flavoured ‘Sugar Me Sugar You’. We were promised an album but the boys then went on to work with Shaila Prospere on her ‘Rise’ winner.
Then earlier this year, they released a few more cuts including a new mix of ‘Sugar Me Sugar You’ and, now, at long last, that long promised album wins release. It’s called ‘Changes’ and includes all that earlier music. Guests on the 14 tracker include Raja Nee, Sean Q, Deli Rowe, Tempo Stokes & Jerome Vintage and Shaila Prospere, who adds her soulful tones to one of the LP’s focus tracks… the sultry but sweet ‘Steal A Kiss’. The album’s other big focus is ‘Heavenly’ which features J Angel. In one mix it’s a bumpy, Pop/R&B confection but in a bonus mix it’s a bass-led, classy modern soul groove – perfect for the sophisticated rug cutters!
