ALEXANDER ON 7…

ALEXANDER MORRIS’ ‘Isn’t She  A Pretty Girl’ has been one of THE TUNES of the year. We’ve not yet come across anyone who hasn’t loved it’s old school charm and contemporary soul vibe… and of course there was that magnificent vocal. Little wonder that Duke Fakir handpicked Morris to be the current lead singer in the 4 Tops!

And by coincidence ‘Isn’t She  A Pretty Girl’ was penned by soul hero and current member of the Tops, Ronnie McNeir while the Detroit musicians on the track were marshalled by Earl Van Dyke Jr – music director, arranger and conductor for the Tops (and, of course, son of a Motown legend!)

The good news is that ‘Isn’t She  A Pretty Girl’ has just won release as a 7” single via ever-dependable Izipho Records. As ever, it’s a limited pressing and were told that there’s fewer than 100 left. Find out more @ https://www.iziphosoul.com/
