Born in Mississippi, baritone GOODMAN moved to New York when he was just 19 and recorded with the VIPERS and the CORVETTES before joining forces with the MOMENTS with whom he recorded some of their best known songs including ‘Love On A Two Way Street’ and ‘All I Have’. The MOMENTS, of course, morphed into RAY, GOODMAN and BROWN and continued to enjoy moderate success particularly with ‘Special Lady’. Family members say Goodman died on Monday (July 26) from complications during surgery at Hackensack University Medical Centre, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife HENRIETTA and five children. A funeral service is scheduled for Monday, Aug. 2, at the Bergen Performing Arts Centre in
