There are fewer more prolific artists than thalian soul and dance music producer ALEX PUDDU. It was just last September that he launched his latest album, ‘Blue Ecstasy’ and straight away he’s embanking on a new project… a Japanese trilogy!
Alex’s team tell us that he’s keen to bring something different to his discography by discovering new territories, and sounds – thus the release of the first single from that trilogy – ‘Velvet’. The song was written, performed and produced by Mr P but sung and translated into Japanese by a very young unknown singer ‘Nai’. It’s a haunting slice of electro- disco with an acid house undertow. File under “interesting” and “intriguing”. It’s out now via Al Dente.
