DINA ÖGON is a four-piece Scandinavian “soul” act. They have two critically acclaimed albums under their belt and are gearing up to release their third album ‘Orion’ in February 2024. The album’s first single has just been released and it’s a warm, harmonic ‘Glitter’ which the band describe as “a journey upward, forward and inward”. Right away that and the artwork (above) tells you that this isn’t a conventional take on soul. But the cut is for sure soulful – warm, timeless and enveloping and a band that cite Stevie Wonder and early Motown as chief influences need some sort of investigation – oh they also cite Fleetwood Mac as heroes!
