ROSE SPEARMAN is a mixed race soulstress currently based in Holland. She has an impressive track record.We’ve learned that Rose has performed at places like Glastonbury and the Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festivals and crossed genres via collaborations with people like Kerri Chandler, Roger Sanchez, Solomon Burke, Jools Holland and KT Tunstall.
Right now she’s working on a new solo album, ‘King Of Air’ but she’s just issued a single from her last LP, ‘Trust’. The single, ‘Come Get The Love’ is an emotional and soulful ballad with beautiful string accompaniment. Mind you, those strings should be exceptional… they were arranged by Philly maestro Larry Gold and recorded at his own studio and they gel perfectly with the King Britt production.
