The LOVE SUPREME JAZZ FESTIVAL has quickly won a deserved place amongst the best UK music festivals. This year’s bash takes place at Glynde Place in East Sussex from July 3rd – 5th and the organizers have just announced the first tranche of headline acts…..
They include Chaka Khan, Ginger Baker, Candi Staton, Van Morrison, Dianne Reeves and Hugh Masekela. Ms Khan will top the bill on the Saturday night and Van Morrison (an incredible 70 this year) closes proceedings on the Sunday.
Other confirmed names include Terence Blanchard, who brings his electric band ‘E-Collective’ to the UK for the first time, Joshua Redman & The Bad Plus and Blue Note-signed trumpeter Ambrose Akinmusire.
