RONNIE McNEIR is a proper, rare soul icon. Right back to the wonderful days of ‘Wendy Is Gone’ our Ron has had a faithful following that’s only grown through his time with the Four Tops.
Not sure what the Tops are doing right now but, as ever, Ronnie continues to make his own music and to that end, he’s just released a new single… a sophisticated modern soul shuffle, ‘Understanding’. Some soul purists might baulk at the ragga style rap but I’m guessing Ronnie’s added it to widen the track’s appeal.
